Weiße Taube Brewery

One of Bamberg's largest breweries, the "Weiße Taube Brewery", once was located on the site of today's "Theatergassen" residential and business district. Originating from a barrel maker, it produced about 1,400 hectolitres of beer a year at the beginning of the 19th century - the highest output of any brewery in the city.
