Wilde Rose Keller

At the last stop of our little beer tour we arrived at the Wilde Rose-Keller at the upper Stephansberg and stand directly above the galleries of the former brewery "Zur wilden Rose". The associated brewery, first mentioned in a document in the 17th century, was located in Keßlerstraße and was only abandoned in 1971. Today it is used to run the eponymous restaurant and a hotel. On the other hand, the large garden has been preserved and is still one of the most popular beer cellars in Bamberg.
